Sponsorship Proposal and Benefits

INFORMATION BACKGROUND ON YIF

The foundation was founded by a well respected Honorable Dr. Olumide Aderibole and co-managed and administered by a selfless visionary and versatile international intelligence security guru consultant, Asiwaju Olumide Mayungbe. Chief O.O. Mayungbe is the current Chairman with the full support of other highly respected Yoruba sons and daughters with excellent reputable records in the country and beyond.

MISSION

To genuinely and sincerely reach out to our corporate, traditional rulers, leaders, organizations, sons and daughters of our unique race for our progress and unity. This reach out endeavor is to update their knowledge towards conscious, and unparallel ideas to strengthening the cultural entities of Yoruba cultural values mostly through formal teaching, learning processes in high schools , colleges and abroad.

VISION

Mission Statement:

To bring back the lost cultural values of the race that was part of the beginning of civilization and thus repositioning and reenergizing the historical values to meet the test of the century for the need of children born and yet unborn.

CORPORATE OBJECTIVES

This is primarily to aid management of the foundation to establish an all round relevant activities which will stimulate positive mindset and training/ development of our children and to create jobs through self employment, mostly the widows and disables that have been neglected in the society.

Secondly, to work without bitterness and facilitate unity in diversity of our race home and abroad. To intensify researches concerning the race and above all, to show gratitude to all leaders past and presence for keeping the pride of the race in every aspect of life.Initially, to effect reparation struggle left behind by Late M.K.O. Abiola and assist the scattered race, sons and daughters abroad to be society adjusted at home.

VISIBLE CHALLENGES

The distance and narrowness in characters of many illustrious sons and daughters to show gratitude, in togetherness we stand in promoting the envisaged corporate objectives, mission and vision, to possible means to justify the end. However, the distance in barriers and unity of purpose shall soon be arrested owing to effective intra and extra communications of modern technology at the disposal of the foundation coupled with this lack of capital formation to meeting our needs.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEMS

Foreign cultures have come to displace the pride of our heritage, like ways of dressing, reasoning, and learning through spoken English, commerce, feeding, drumming and dancing etc. The absolute time to re-strategize our children to preserve the value embedded in the Yoruba culture ways of life have become a task necessary with automatic optimum dispatch, if the race does not want to lose completely her historical cultural values to the foreign countries. This is another method of imperialism or colonization of the 21st century.

SOURCES OF FINANCE

Capital accumulation for the foundation to meet its constant, short and long range planning strategies are to be the sources through which members register annually with stipend funds of N2,500.00, $10.00 or 10.00 Pounds only per head worldwide. We will also generate meager funds through registration of YIF scholarship scheme at N2,500.00 , $10.00 or 10.00 Pounds only per head worldwide (Yoruba youths for actualization mind building). Furthermore, we are hoping to generate funds through workshops/ seminars and by other relevant events which will give recognition to fallen Yoruba heroes and heroines, sons and daughters of Oodua home and abroad who had/have made our race proud.
